Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Role SummaryThis position is accountable to execute the input, updating, maintenance and accuracy of the B.O.M data within the D.R.I.V.E system for the new model and or engineering changes affecting the production floor. Key ResponsibilitiesExecutes the input/updating/ maintenance and accuracy of the drive system procedures and work instructions for productionExecutes, through appropriate service departments, input and verifies the accuracy of the documentation being submittedRequests corrective action and generates NOC’s or EDR when documentation submitted is incomplete or inaccurateMaintains an accurate record of information, to history of drive inputAdvises or requests from MIS group appropriate system updates to suit department RequirementsCreates, revises and maintains the Bill of Material (BOM) integrity for all production and service items.Receives Engineering Change Notices and Engineering Deviation Requests from engineering, uses this information to create and update the BOM’s and Routings.Receives Process Routing Spec Sheets and packaging criteria from engineering and uses this information to update BOM’s.Requests corrective action from appropriate service departments when documentation submitted is incomplete or inaccurate.Attends all cross functional team meetings for new and existing programs.Identifies and handles obsolete or expired inventory items in CMSAnalyzes the BOM for products to ensure accuracy of the structure of the BOM.Revises the BOM for products to ensure accurate, up to date information is contained within, maintains database (CMS) of changes and the status of each change.Interacts with production, quality control, purchasing and the materials group to ensure smooth implementation of new and existing product and engineering changes.Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate actions. Key Qualifications/RequirementsCompletion of high school or equivalent.3 to less than 5 years of work related experience.Minimum of 1 year experience in an engineering department environment preferredCompletion of community college diploma/certificate preferred Additional InformationThree day turn around on NOC's & EDR's
