Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MMLs expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Job Profile:This position is accountable to be the financial support for the operations team on quantifying operational KPI’s and assisting the operations team to meet financial targets.Responsibilities:

  • Perform shop floor walks, usually together with plant management, to support financial calculations of the shop floor issues and improvement ideas
  • Provide weekly reports on direct labor efficiency, weekly deviations from plan for costs and headcount, and all other reports required by plant management
  • Support operational departments in translating processes and KPI’s into financial numbers
  • Maintain production part costs throughout the program life and come with ideas to improve
  • Maintain management status reports for product design & development (PDD) costs, production parts, prototypes, tooling and pre-production costs for assigned programs
  • Review and approve all cost changes that are made to drive master files that affect program costs
  • Member of the cross functional team (CFT) for designated programs, and responsible that all financial activities on these programs, as reflected in the Financial Panel charts, are well managed. These activities include, Product Design & Development (PDD) costs, production parts, tooling, prototypes, pre-production costs and program specific capital
  • Develop fiscal program sales and cost of sales budgets based on Magna planning volumes
  • Develop business case for new programs together with Financial Analysts
  • Maintain Cost Reduction Roadmaps
  • Minimal travel as required
  • Perform other duties as required
