Job Description

Hanson College, established in 2001, is a private educational institution that delivers college diploma programs and language training programs to international students. Our three campuses located in Toronto, Brampton, and New Westminster, BC. Come and join Hanson to change life trajectories through education for generational impact in the global community.We are searching to hire an Academic Coordinator for our Brampton Campus.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and update a large volume of academic data, including GPA sheets per semester, course summary reports, survey reports, end of semester course reports.
  • Provide all material, outlines, resources for new and existing faculty to ensure they have necessary tools to effectively deliver their assigned courses.
  • Compile periodic faculty reports through the semester to assist with instructor performance reviews.
  • Conduct exams check on LMS for mid-terms and final exams; coordinate final exam procedures.
  • Support preparation of material and present at student and faculty orientations.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications/Skills:
  • Post-secondary education, university degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with faculty and students preferably in post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Confident in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with Schoology, or similar Learning Management platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
