Accounts Receivable CoordinatorCorporate FinancePermanent Full-TimeReporting to the Supervisor, Corporate Reporting and Receivables, you will be responsible for the monitoring and collection of accounts receivables.In this role you will:Prepare follow up letters to customers regarding outstanding balances and document collection efforts.Ensure proper authorization and compliance with Regional policies and proceduresDeliver training to internal staff on invoice policies and proceduresPerform general ledger reconciliationsFollowing up on non-sufficient fund (NSF) paymentsAssist with resolving complex accounts receivable collection problemsLiaising with collection agency and municipal tax officesProcess the monthly invoices for Geoware and General Ledger interfaceReport monthly on outstanding accounts receivable balancesQualifications:High school diploma plus at least one (1) year post-secondary education in a finance or accounting fieldA minimum of three (3) years collection experienceWork experience in an Accounting, Finance or Accounts Receivable IndustryEffective verbal and written communications skillsStrong proficiency with computer skills, namely Word, Excel and MS OutlookWorking knowledge of PeopleSoft financialsExcellent negotiation and problem solving skillsStrong organizational skillsDetail orientatedExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting prioritiesAbility to work in a self-directed manner within a collaborative team environmentIf this opportunity matches your qualifications and experience, please apply on-line.Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton along with the ability to work remotely, as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.We are committed to supporting community recovery from COVID-19.
