A seasoned Data Scientist with experience using OCR technologiesResponsibilities �

Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems
Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
Defining validation strategies
Training models and tuning their hyperparameters
Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
Working on converting documents using OCR techniques with Deep learning using Python
Understand the problem statement thoroughly.
Development of python code using PEP8 and clean code guidelines.
Code enhancement and bug fixes in Python.
Maintain code repository using Tortoise SVN.
Create in-code documentation (docstrings, comments etc.)
Setting up python environment using Anaconda.

Required Skills �

Strong experience in Python
Experience using OCR tools like Tesseract, ABBY FineReader, Google Vision etc
Good understanding & experience working with packages like OpenCV, Pandas
Strong with regular expressions.
Knowledge on Web scraping and Web Testing frameworks such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium etc.
Should have good understanding of OOPs concepts
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Knowledge of NLP techniques to process text and perform entity extraction
Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
Experience with VCS like GIT, SVN
Most importantly - Good team player and excellent communicator
