Job Description

Overview:Location: Brampton, ON, Ingersoll ON (Summer 2023) Department: Dot Transportation Canada, Inc. Reports To: Director of TransportationPay Range - $0.64 per mile, plus $50/night LayoverYour Role – Operate commercial tractor trailer with a max GVWR of 80,000lbs, to and from set locations.

  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment
  • Comply with all company, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Meet established company goals
  • Read and understand driver load paperwork
  • Perform other duties as required
Role Specifics – In this role, you will also:
  • Dispatched to University Park IL and Liverpool NY weekly. Approximately 2100 miles round trip weekly.
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Drive, sit, walk and stand as required by the job
  • Perform regular, physical activity including lifting up to 25 KG on a regular basis

Qualifications:We Need You To Have:
  • AZ license with a clean abstract
  • A minimum of 12-months experience as an AZ driver
  • Medical examiner certificate
  • Haz-Mat certification
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language

  • Previous long haul driving experience in Canada and US
