Our patient-centric focus is demonstrated across our locations, all uniquely designed to support both the practical aspects of access to compassionate, cutting-edge health care, as well as the way patients and visitors feel.HOURS: Currently Days/Evenings 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays(Subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will work closely with the Resource Nurse, staff and Physicians to provide clerical support to an active inpatient clinic as required.UNIT QUALIFICATIONSFluent in English (Reading/Writing/Speaking/Comprehension)Minimum Secondary School DiplomaMedical Terminology or post secondary education relevant to this positionRecent Clerical Associate experience required (Order transcription, Meditech: Patient Registration, Order Entry, Payroll, Purchasing/Stores)Experience with TOMCAT bookings40-45 wpm typing skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task with a high level of accuracy requiredWord processing and computer skills would be an assetFlexibility to meet the needs of a very fast-paced departmentExcellent attendance and work record requiredReliable, dependable, punctualMay be required to travel between and work at all hospital campusesSALARY:Minimum: $22.25 per hourMaximum: $24.11 per hourYour community thanks you for considering this role.Joining Osler now is a chance to immerse yourself in a culturally diverse, collaborative, and innovative environment.
