Job Description

Title: Customer Service RepresentativeReports to: Supervisor, Customer ServiceLocation: Brampton, ONJob SummaryThis role will focus on Customer Service excellence for a specific group of customers. The Customer Service Representative will focus on detailed aspects of customer service for a specific customer or group of customers in order management activities. They are responsible for driving process improvements for their customer (or group of customers) and will be focused on making Newell Brands the “vendor of choice” for their customer.Essential Functions

  • Maintain expertise in assigned Customer accounts
  • Resolves EDI Workflow issues for assigned accounts
  • Maintains Sourcing and Customer Material tables in SAP for their specific customer
  • Manages processes specific to assigned Customer Segment. This may include seasonal or promotional activities.
  • Champions customer service within the organization to ensure that corporate policies & processes are executable & cost effective within the department.
  • Champions process and streamlines efficiency specific to their assigned Customer Segment.
  • Participate in training as required by direct supervisor and department trainer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor specific to the business you support (if applicable).
  • Complies with department and Newell Rubbermaid policies and programs.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
Qualifications
  • 3 years experience in a Customer Service environment or related job function. High School education or equivalent. College diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in SAP and CRM systems preferred
  • Work effectively within dynamic team environment, cross functionally with other departments, and various levels of management, sales personnel and customers
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • High competency for problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate issues and smooth volatile situations
  • Business acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
