Customer Service Shipper and Poultry CounterMaple Lodge Farms, Canada’s largest and most trusted chicken provider is looking for a Part Time Retail Customer Service Shipper and Poultry Counter.Interested in joining Canada’s largest poultry processor At Maple Lodge Farms, we’re not only passionate about our chickens, but our people, too. If you’re a committed team player, we would love to have you as part of our Retail Chicken Shop team.What you will get to do:

  • Verifies quantities on incoming/outgoing shipments using purchase orders and packing slips. Ensures all products match the purchase orders and scanning protocol is followed.
  • Packs goods to be shipped or brought to customer vehicles. (Retail Chicken Shop Shipper)
  • Bag and pack fresh poultry based on customer’s order; weigh product with correct product skew and price with accurate product cost. (Chicken Shop Poultry Counter Customer Service)
  • Unpacks goods received including daily shipments for daily restocking, receive and count all inventory of fresh poultry and counter products, ensuring all frozen products are received and stocked in the freezer, and product management procedures are followed.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, work environment in coolers and back loading area, as well as an orderly appearance in the customer distribution area and parking lot. Ensure the proper handling and storage of products and follow proper sanitation procedures when cleaning equipment and cases.
  • Responsible for ensuring each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, and supporting and executing superior customer service.
  • Communicates customer requests or complaints to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure the safe handling of frozen and fresh products, complying with sanitation and safety standards at all times.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Your education & experience matters to us:
  • Prior work experience in restaurant and/or retail business preferred;
  • Background in Poultry and Meat industry is an asset.
  • Good interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;

  • This position is onsite working with a great team!
Shift:
  • Monday to Sunday availability, Retail hours 8:30am to 6:30pm
