Dynacare is looking for a Cytotechnologist to join our Cytology team in Brampton, Ontario. This is a casual, working Monday to Friday. Expected availability evenings and weekends.Responsibilities:Performing accurate and timely evaluation and interpretation of gynecological smears both conventional and liquid basedPerforming microscopic evaluation of the structural changes using specific criteria in normal and disease altered cells are assessed for the purpose of cancer detectionComplying with all Dynacare policies and proceduresComplying with safe work practices in accordance with company Heath & Safety policiesOther duties as requiredMust have:CMLTO registered Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standingDiploma from an accredited school of Diagnostic CytologyProficient with computer applicationsNice to have:Experience with Merlin an assetPrevious work experience in Cytology preferredAbility to multitask and work in a team environmentAttention to detail and organizational skills are essential.Ability to function in a fast paced environment.Sound decision-maker who functions effectively independentlyDNA of an Ideal Dynacare EmployeeI make a difference in people’s lives.
