This role will include working with both business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, shape designs and carry out development and support within the application domain. This position requires creativity and innovation, strong communication skills, and collaboration with various cross-functional teams across Rogers.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with internal business partners to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, working closely with product vendors.Participate in design discussions focused on scalability and implementation of best practices.Develop, Configure and perform ongoing maintenance of applications in Fraud and settlement domain.Provide production support on a rotational basis.Develop solutions based on business requirements, coding and unit testing and support QA team during functional and regression testing.Resolve issues on a timely basis and support business partners.Work closely with cross functional teams and make sure that the data integrity is maintained.Participate in vendor product assessment.Analyzes complex system problems with ease and offers alternative business solutions for system enhancements and production issuesAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations.Work with vendor resources to deliver an end to end solution to the business needs.Collaborate with multiple teams both upstream and downstream for development and issue resolutionUnderstands the business processes, how the application flow works and applies this knowledge to best solve the problemsDesign, manage, and maintain DevOps pipelines, services and components to enable accelerated delivery of solutions and servicesCreate and support automation and continuous integration & deployment methodology and problem solving across platform and application domainsKeen interest in learning opportunities and a continuous improvement mindset to adapt quickly to the team dynamics.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Computer EngineeringExcellent Communication, Analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to take ownership on the deliverables and work well under pressure.Requirements5+ years experience in software development and support activities with solid knowledge on the technologies listed below.Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, Git/GitHub), including building and supporting automation, version control, and overall security of a CI/CD pipelineExperience in Azure Kubernetes, Azure SQL MI, Docker, Microservices platformExperience in Java, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL scripts, helm chartsTechnical expertise working in Linux/Unix and Database (Oracle, SQL Server) platforms.Experience in using Jira and Confluence tools.Proficient in Agile Software Delivery and SDLC process.Competent in enterprise application delivery and design techniques, including release and source code branching strategies.Telecom industry knowledge is an asset.Schedule: Full timeShift: DayLength of Contract: Not Applicable (Regular Position)Work Location: 8200 Dixie Rd (341), Brampton, ONTravel Requirements: Up to 10%Posting Category/Function: Technology & Information TechnologyRequisition ID: 232411At Rogers Digital, our team doesn’t shy away from big ideas – we bring them to life.
