Job Description

We are currently looking for a Driver/Warehouse Associate. Come join the team!DESCRIPTIONThe Driver/Warehouse Associate will work alongside the Warehouse Manager and Office Coordinator as the designated role will be responsible for delivering material/equipment to construction sites throughout GTA and organizing the warehouse. Please note this position will be reporting to our Georgetown warehouse.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently deliver machinery, tools, equipment and material to project sites
  • Prepare for next day deliveries
  • Follow each site protocol when arriving for delivery
  • Load truck with machinery, tools, equipment and materials for delivery
  • Unload trucks and receive material receipts when equipment and material are delivered
  • Confirm all items loaded for delivery are accurate
  • Ensure all tools returned to warehouse are cleaned, in proper working order and are logged in ON!Track system
  • Clear the warehouse yard and ensure it is free of debris
  • Clean trucks and other machinery
  • Ensure warehouse is clean and well maintained, including sweeping and painting
  • Testing, inspection & repair of equipment. (within limitations)
  • Inventory of equipment, materials & supplies
  • Support Warehouse staff with all warehouse operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in similar role supporting warehouse operations
  • Previous work experience in the Rental Industry, driver / logistics is preferred
  • Experience using Hilti’s ON!Track system, an asset
  • Team player
  • Self-starter and able to work autonomously
  • Detail oriented, efficient with time and meticulous
  • Comfortable using a computer
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken
  • Valid G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Forklift Operator license (or able to obtain license)
