About UsOne of North America’s oldest and top performing Volvo dealers, Volvo Cars Mississauga has an immediate requirement for an experienced Controller to join our dealership. Located in the booming Mississauga, Heartland Town Centre area, this position is located conveniently between Mavis and 403 and Mavis and 401.Our long-standing family business of over 65 years is looking for a stellar new team member to lead the financial department alongside our experienced team due to the retirement of our current Controller of 25+ years who will be available to provide a thorough onboarding to set you up for success.Location: 797 Bancroft Dr, Mississauga, ON, L5V 2Y6Who You Are:

Responsibilities
  • Represent the Volvo Brand with the highest level of professionalism, knowledge and pride
  • Oversee all accounting/bookkeeping functions including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables & payroll.
  • Generate monthly financial statements
  • Compare P& L summaries and accounts for variances
  • Yearend paperwork including, T4’s
  • Oversee schedules, reconcile, and analyze discrepancies.
  • Provide analytical, administrative & financial information
  • Ability to forecast and review business plans.
  • Manage office staff
  • Responsibilities as assigned by the Retailer or GM
Qualifications
  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in a senior management role of accounting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Dealership experience considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Adapt easily to new software platforms
  • Ability to meet deadlines
