Job Description – Sales ManagerAs Sales Manager for the Hampton Inn Brampton, you hold important keys to the success of the hotel and your personal success. As you put your skills to work developing and fostering hotel business through Direct Sales, Marketing, Networking and Management of the hotel’s existing portfolio you will be part of a team that’s driven towards the continued growth and development of the property. On a day to day basis, as Sales Manager you will be responsible for conducting sales calls in person, by phone or video conference. As the local regulations change, regular site tours of our property and sites of existing and potential clients will be a requirement. At weekly meetings you will have the opportunity to brainstorm and work out strategies with the management team as you work towards capturing our budget targets in all market segments. Being part of the Hampton Inn team requires that you are an independently self-driven individual with a success focused outlook.Key Role Responsibilities:· Foster Business with proactive sales approach.· Analyze current client base and devise innovative approach to boost said base.· Approach Corporate and Social organizations to promote the hotel and meeting facilities.· Provide superior guest service, with speed and efficiency when returning calls and making bookings.· Be the face of the hotel at industry and networking events with professionalism and character.· Work with travel partners, Hilton Revenue Management and area Convention & Banquet Facilities.· Meet and exceed all monthly revenue sales targets.· Report and document all sales activity in sales software e.g. Delphi.· Maintain a good team atmosphere across all departments.· Maintain a good working rapport with management team and hotel ownership.· Provide a superior guest experience and support at every stage of capturing corporate and leisure bookings.· Upkeep and improve the property involvement in the local community.· Report to the General Manager.Job Requirements:· Associates/ Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, Commerce Marketing or equivalent.· 2 year minimum experience as hotel sales & catering manager.· Previous experience with Hilton Branded Hotels is required.· OnQ Trained.· Experience with Delphi or similar OS is an asset.· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.· The ability to implement and maintain accurate sales documentation.· The ability to make revenue management decisions to positively grow market share.· Produce proactive sales strategies for new and existing customers.· Motivate and support an “everyone sells” positive sales culture.· Mentor and develop team members.· Strong computer acumen.· Excellent communication and problem resolution skills.· Ensure Hotel Policies and Brand Standards are followed.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $49,386.00-$60,361.00 per yearAdditional pay:
