About StackTeck Systems LimitedStackTeck, with over five decades of mold building innovation, is a leading source of high productivity tooling solutions for the injection molding industry. StackTeck supplies a wide range of injection molds and IML automation used to produce plastic parts in applications such as caps, closures, medical, PET preforms, and thinwall packaging; as well as complete system integrations including IML.SUMMARYThe position of Manual MillMachinist is responsible for the set up and operation to machine internal and external diameters and forms on steel injection mold components.Day Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm ( Monday to Friday) MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate a Manual Mill
  • Interpret engineering drawings to determine specifications, set up and operating requirements
  • Complete first run inspection and complete spot checks for conformance to specifications
  • Ensure effective production of quality parts by completing in-process and final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
  • Work to defined tolerances
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ year of relevant hands-on machining experience, preference in a machine shop setting
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong in math and computer skills
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
