At Rogers, your journey is filled with limitless possibilities - let’s make your possible.About Strategy Planning:The Analyst, Strategy & Planning will work within the IT Planning & Governance department with IT leaders to support development, documenting and communication of each group’s strategic direction and the link to corporate, Technology & IT department strategies. The Analyst will also support strategy project execution and provide analysis to support decision making. The work environment will be heavily team-based, requiring the individual to work in a collaborative environment, including clients across the business.Program Design:As part of the program, successful candidates will participate in 1-2 job rotations over 12 months. Rotational plans are designed to tap into your personal and professional development. You will also be paired with a mentor and coach!What you will be doing:

  • Work collaboratively across the organization, facilitating effective communication across business units and functional lines of business
  • Serve as strategic thought partner to the group’s senior leadership
  • Analyze penetration and market conditions to build strategic plans driving customer leads & sales while assisting with the creation of the annual & quarterly go to market plans.
  • Baseline, map and document IT processes with an aim to incrementally improve efficiency of the IT organization.
  • Work with the team to scope and initiate projects aimed at resolving critical strategic issues for Rogers Communications
  • Provide analytic support in the development and implementation of strategic plans
  • Develop recommendations for key business decisions and/or transactions
  • Build strong and ongoing relationships with business leads, assisting them on business specific analysis
Required Qualifications:
  • Entering your final year of your bachelor’s degree OR have completed your degree between 2021 and 2023 in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Must have graduated before the end of June 2023
  • Familiarity with telecommunication industry and operations is highly desirable
  • Proven analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong sense of initiative and a self starter who can work equally well in groups or on their own
  • High degree of proven analytical and data analysis capabilities
  • Known as a continuous learner with a passion for technology and data
  • Communication skills through both formal and informal presentations
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience in Oracle Enterprise Business and Oracle Discoverer
