We like to have fun and we pride in our mission to turn "houses into homes" and to create beautiful interior spaces.We offer:Competitive wages and benefitsRRSP matching programA clean and safe indoor work environmentTraining and opportunity for advancementOutstanding team supportWhat You’ll DoAs the Raw Line Operator, you are a key team member in running a prime line producing primed MDF trim in accordance with the work order specifications, making certain that inventories meet the expectation of our work order requirements and ensuring production targets are met.At a High-level, your day-to-day will include:Set up and operate prime line according to manufacturers’ specificationsUse SAP and follow established recording procedures in the execution of daily tasksKeep the prime line and common areas clean and organized at all timesPerform quality checks as per department requirementsEngage in support of Continuous Improvement initiativesAbility to produce products to within quality expectationsEnsure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec)Troubleshooting issues with your machine to fix problems (calling maintenance if needed)Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, on time, in spec.)Who You AreDuring the training and onboarding process, you must be available during either of the following shifts:Day Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PMNight Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 PM to 4:00 AMWe would love to hear from you if you:Have machine operator background/experienceUnderstand and can reliably apply all safety policies and regulationsAre able to perform physically demanding workAre able to work in a team environment as well as independentlyWork well with hand toolsIt would be an added bonus if you have:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing in an operating roleExperience running Weinig moulders or Paul sawHow to ApplyCome work with us!
