We like to have fun and we pride in our mission to turn "houses into homes" and to create beautiful interior spaces.We offer:Competitive wages and benefitsRRSP matching programA clean and safe indoor work environmentTraining and opportunity for advancementOutstanding team supportWhat You’ll DoAs the Saw operator, you are a key team member in running and producing MDF trim in accordance with the work order drawing specifications, making certain that inventories meet the expectation of our work order requirements and ensuring production targets are met.At a High-level, your day-to-day will include:Set up and operate the saw according to manufacturers’ specificationsUse SAP and follow established recording procedures in the execution of daily tasksKeep all common areas clean and organized at all timesPerform quality checks as per department requirementsEngage in support of Continuous Improvement initiatives (i.e., Safety, SMED, 6S, etc.)Packaging finished product so it can be shipped outTroubleshooting issues with your machine to fix problems (calling maintenance if needed)Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, on time, in spec.)Who You AreYou must be available during the following shift:Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 5:00pmWe would love to hear from you if you:Have machine operator background/experienceUnderstand and can reliably apply all safety policies and regulationsAre able to perform physically demanding workAre able to work in a team environment as well as independentlyWork well with hand toolsIt would be an added bonus if you have:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing in an operating roleExperience running Paul saw’s or weinig equipmentHow to ApplyCome work with us!
