Job Posting DetailsHOURS: Currently Days, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (Subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)POSITION SUMMARY:Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessmentCommunication and screening/assessment and managementProviding education, resources and referral to patients and families in a clear and accessible mannerCompleting assessments and relays findings to patients, families and inter-professional teams in a timely manner to facilitate access and flowParticipating as part of the SLP team, attending meetings and education sessions where requiredThis position will report to the Clinical Services Manager, Allied HealthUNIT QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyRegistered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)Excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer Literacy. Experience with Meditech an assetAbility to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast paced medical environmentAbility to work with an interdisciplinary teamExperience with videofluoroscopy an assetExperience with tracheostomies an assetExcellent attendance, punctuality and work record requiredMay be required to travel between and work at all Hospital campusesOsler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
