The Canadian Mental Health Association/Peel Dufferin Branch (CMHA/Peel Dufferin) is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for the position of Summer Student - Client Feedback Facilitator.This is a Canada Summer Job 2021 Temporary full time eight (8) week position. Approximate contract dates between: May 30, 2021 - September 3, 2021. This position works Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week. The incumbent will work in the catchment area of Brampton and report to the Program Manager, Brampton Care Collaborative.Requirements:Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employmentMust be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employmentMust have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulationsMust be able to work all 8 weeks consecutivelyComplete a Vulnerable Sector ScreeningRate of Pay: $15.25 per hourSummary of job responsibilities:To assist with the implementation, delivery, evaluation and data entry of the evidence based Ontario Perception of Care (OPOC) Client Survey across the organization. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining standardized processes that will directly engage clients in providing feedback on their service experience with CMHA Peel Dufferin.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain a system to support a client feedback process across the agency.Support clients and families with the completion of their perception of care feedback in person and/or by telephone interviews.Enter and update client surveys in the CAMH OPOC database including contact entries in our electronic health record system (CRMS).Work collaboratively with the Direct Services to package OPOC materials for clients.Support the on-going delivery, monitoring and evaluation of client feedbackSkills & Qualifications:Was registered as a full-time student in the health care or social services sector during the preceding academic yearPrevious administrative experience, as well as experience working with client/patient related or driven databases would be an assetKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAttention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and comfort level working with people with mental illness and addictionsExcellent verbal and written communications skills both in person and over the phoneAbility to work independently in a multi-task environment and to prioritize tasks in a manner that meets staff needs and program objectivesWorking Conditions:Flexible work environment will be approximately 85% remote, 15% in office following all safety precautions and measuresWork in contact with individuals living with serious mental illness, issues of poverty and substance useLifting, carrying, handling of small objects and packages not normally exceeding 1-10 lbs., e.g., files, information brochures, small office equipment/toolsSitting for long duration, e.g., meeting with people, working at deskWalking and standing for short durationCMHA Peel Dufferin is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to diversity and inclusiveness at our workplace and recognize the unique contribution every individual makes to the community.We acknowledge that removing and reducing existing barriers and preventing new barriers is required in providing opportunities that foster independence, inclusion, and dignity for people of all ages, genders, cultures, and abilities.
