The Canadian Mental Health Association/Peel Dufferin Branch (CMHA/Peel Dufferin) is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for the position of Summer Student – Reception Support to perform reception and administrative duties for CMHA Peel's front door.This is a Canada Summer Job 2021 Temporary full time eight (8) week position. Approximate contract dates between: May 30, 2021 - September 3, 2021. This position works Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week. The incumbent will work in the catchment area of Brampton and report to the Program Manager, Brampton Care Collaborative.Requirements:Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employmentMust be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employmentMust have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulationsMust be able to work all 8 weeks consecutivelyComplete a Vulnerable Sector ScreeningRate of Pay: $15.25 per hourSummary of Job Responsibilities:To perform reception and administrative duties for CMHA Peel's front door.Key Responsibilities:1. Perform telephone duties at main reception and greet guests, clients and other members of the public to the office and direct them to the appropriate department/individual.2. Compile and distribute incoming and outgoing mail to various programs3. Ensure that program brochures are available, and order as needed4. Book meeting rooms, training rooms and facilities5.
