The Technical Implementation Specialist is responsible to plan and lead the integration efforts of mobile technology platforms at our hospital partners across the country. These technologies are the infrastructure backbone necessary for our life-saving devices.As part of the dynamic and innovative Cardiac Therapies and Diagnostics team, you will be an important contributing member to the overall deployment and adoption strategies necessary to this critical project. We need your insights to develop and execute actions plans, track metrics and create tools for our field team and customers to make this transformation a success!This role requires you to work collaboratively with several different functional departments both internally and at customer sites. Being able to understand and align the needs/requirements of our customers’ different departments will enable you to effectively implement these new technologies and add significant value for our customers.A day in the life.Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)Manages a series of customer implementation projects - Conducts project meetings with customers and is responsible to review status of projects and timelines manages schedules and prepares status reports.Defines project scope and objectives with customers and internal stakeholders.Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.Identifies customers technology intake processes and provide support in fulfilling IT, security and privacy requirements.Interfaces with contract specialists and legal department resources to facilitate contracting work.Collaborate with different global geographies (USA, Europe, etc…) on deployment and adoption of best practices and strategies.Works closely with the field team to identify customer’s clinical data workflows and determine the optimal digital solutions to implement.Identifies and problem solves customer implementation challenges with the help and support of the field team and internal resourcesServes as a cross-functional liaison between product management, planning, project teams and field teamsContributes to the development/mapping and implementation of operational processes for the deployment and adoption of products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams.Contributes to the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and clients.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.Gathers customer and field team feedback on unmet needs and requirements. Assists in identification of opportunity areas and their expected benefitsContributes in the creation of materials/documentations and tools to support deployment and technology adoption needs.In collaboration with Education Manager and Clinical Specialists, develop and conduct internal and external education plans.Contributes in the development of an internal and external communication strategy for the projects, sharing success stories and best practicesMust Have.Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering or BusinessMinimum of 2 years of relevant experienceAbility to travel 20%Ability to facilitate and/or lead project team meetings effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.Show resourcefulness and apply it to problem solving deployment/implementation challenges.Ability to understand general technical IT/security concepts and requestsAbility to sift through a great deal of information and extract relevant informationAble to work with different personalities in a collaborative settingSeeks to understand first by listening and probing for needs and concernsExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface and influence at all organizational levels.Possess a technical aptitude, is analytical and a self-starterAble to challenge assumptions with solid evidence / reasoningAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint SkillsAbility to deliver under tight deadlines, work independently with minimal supervisionNice to have.Advanced degreeGeneral IT/technical knowledgeProject Management CertificationNo minimum years of relevant experienceExperience leading a cross functional project teamBilingual English/French a preferred assetHospital IT experience an assetPhysical Job RequirementsThe physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
