Job Description

Integral HR Solutions is partnering with Bristol Car and Truck Rentals to recruit a technically gifted Technology Manager. The selected candidate will be highly instrumental in successfully launching our Carshare software platform. Once operational, the focus will change to providing leadership and overseeing Carshare Software platform operations on a daily basis. Ongoing oversight and development of the program will call for relationship building with internal colleagues and external software developers.Bristol has been offering car and truck rentals in the Greater Toronto Area since 1992. We have fostered a reputation for honesty, integrity, customer service, and vehicle reliability. Our 12 operating locations offer full suite of rental vehicle options including passenger cars, commercial and moving truck rentals, refrigerated trucks, trailers and passenger vans. A Canadian owned and operated business, Bristol is a neighbourhood vehicle rental supplier, serving local communities throughout the GTA.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consult and advise on Software applications used by Company or which could be used to add functionality or efficiency to operations
  • create and develop software tools including API’s to make Company data more useful to operations and management decision-making
  • Oversee IT in Company Head office and branches, interacting with outside tech suppliers
  • Develop and introduce business plans relating to the implementation of information technologies
  • Conduct system audits with the purpose of verifying application results of newly implemented technology
  • Collaborate with department managers and users to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Develop annual IT Budget and Business Plans
  • Troubleshooting systems
  • Maintaining IT/Systems inventory
  • Ordering equipment and supplies as required

  • Prior experience in the rental car sector will be beneficial
The select candidate will have a service orientation and have a passion for systems and technology.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in the field of technology.
