What Youll DoAs the Tool Room Operator, you are a key team member in producing tooling in accordance with the work order drawing specifictions, making certain that inventories meet the expectation of our tool room requirementes and ensuring production targets are met. At a High-level, your day-to-day will include:
  • Set up and operate both grinders according to manufacturers specification
  • Use SAP and follow established recording procedures in the execution of daily tasks
  • Keep tool room and common areas clean and organized at all times
  • Perform quality checks as per department requirements
  • Cross training in other departments on the line (Moulder, Priming and Packaging) to further skillset
  • Engage in suppor of MPS initiatives (i.e. Safety, Continuous Improvement, 6S etc)
Who You AreWe would love to hear from you if you:
  • Understand and can reliably apply all safety policies and regulations
  • Are able to perform physically demanding work
  • Are able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Work well with hand tools
It would be an added bonus if you have:
  • Experience in manufacturing in an operating role
