Job DescriptionWHAT #39;S THE JOBWe are seeking a Food Kit Specialist to support fire base camp operations by preparing and organizing meal kits for personnel working in emergency response settings. This role ensures that firefighters and support staff have access to nutritious, well-balanced, and efficiently prepared meals tailored to meet the demands of their work in rugged environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, inventory management, and logistics, with a strong ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure conditions.You must be comfortable working in a remote bush camp setting.Bush camps are often hours away from any town, with limited to no cell reception and Wi-Fi.Must be comfortable sleeping in a tent and living in the outdoors as accommodations can range from a lodge to a tent depending on the site.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and distribute food kits based on dietary needs and operational requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, packaging, and handling of food supplies.
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate restocking of essential food items.
  • Work closely with catering teams or chef to support with culinary duties as required.
  • Monitor food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in organizing food deliveries and managing supply logistics.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food storage areas.
  • Driving company vehicle.
