Job Description

The Project Controls Support will be responsible for supporting project controls and project performance reporting in the Project Management Division.Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate and work with other engineering disciplines, stakeholders and contractors to develop and maintain project schedules, scopes and budget.   • A two-year diploma in Technology from an educational institution of recognized standing plus completion of three accredited courses in project management and courses in leadership, and a minimum of six years of related experience.
OR
  • A certificate plus completion of four accredited courses in project management and courses in leadership, and a minimum of seven years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff Knowledge of best practices with respect to project controls as well as cost and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • PMP and/or AACE designation would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in project control tools, risk management tools, and change management is an asset. A high degree of initiative and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in the implementation and administration of project controls as well as cost and scheduling techniques, including the ability to select and apply different progress measurement methodologies, would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in project management of capital projects, including ability to demonstrate an understanding of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, working knowledge in SAP, scheduling software (P6 and MS Project), and SharePoint would be considered an asset.
