  • Team Member Management
  • Lead and performance coach a team of IT Coordinators who provide front line technology support to teams across the country
  • Identify, assess, promote and mentor key managers and team members
  • Oversee resource planning to ensure proper resources and team members are available to meet workload requirements
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of desktop system including hardware, software and peripherals
  • Work with the Server/Storage/Network teams to help deploy, maintain, upgrade and support IT systems, including telecommunications, servers and networks
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Maintain a broad understanding of the IT environment and how the firm sources, deploys and manages external vendors
  • Carry out benchmarking and make use of supplier performance data to ensure that supplier performance is properly monitored and regularly reviewed
  • Business Relationship Management
  • Advocate a strong working relationship amongst regionally dispersed teams based on shared best practices and strategies
  • Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations
  • Work closely with regional leaders to identify and implement technology solutions and business process improvements across the firm
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed throughout the organization
  • Technology Solutions Management
  • Evaluate new system software, review updates and identify issues that merit action
  • Monitor the effectiveness of installations and ensure that appropriate recommendations for change are made
  • Investigate and coordinate the resolution of service issues
  • Ensure that operational documentation for system software is fit for purpose and current
  • Identify new opportunities for continuous service delivery improvements or projects
Skills and Experience
  • Experience managing an IT service support team
  • General knowledge of all aspects of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure and operations
  • Technical knowledge of IT concepts, principles, infrastructure, systems, hardware platforms, configuration, applications, networks and telecommunications
  • Understanding of IT trends and developments to ensure optimum systems infrastructure and performance
  • Proven experience successfully overseeing IT operations and projects
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, managers, team members, vendors and clients
  • Knowledge of service delivery frameworks
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required
