Job Description

Position: Licensed Electrician Location: Brantford, ON Salary: $38/hr + Shift premium afternoonsShift: Weekdays afternoon (Monday - Thursday 6.00 AM - 4.30 PM) and/or Weekends days (Friday - Sunday 6.00 AM - 6.00 PM)Industry: Manufacturing/ Automotive / ElectricianEmployment Term: Full Time / In-person Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Install machinery, support equipment, and structures.
  • Read and understand schematics and drawings for plant equipment.
  • Perform repairs on machinery and plant support systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs.
  • Direct and coordinate maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Compile data and write reports on projects when necessary.
  • Maintain and manage the manufacturing condition of the production line.
  • Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an electrical technician/electrician in manufacturing.
  • Valid 442A or 309A license.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical skills.
  • Experience with sequence control and PLCs.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Comfortable taking direction, multitasking, and managing time efficiently for best results.
  • Able to report to either Weekday Afternoon shift or Weekend Day shift
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbalamp; written.
