Job Description

Our clients include industry-leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function.Position: Licensed Electrician – PLC ExperienceLocation: Brantford, ONSalary: $42/hr + Shift premium afternoonsIndustry: Manufacturing / Automotive / ElectricianEmployment Term: Full Time / PermanentShift:Weekday Morning (M-T 6:00am – 4:30pm) Weekday Evening (M-T 6:00pm – 4:30am) Weekend Days (F-S-S 6:00am – 6:00pm)Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Safely use hand and power tools to install machinery, support equipment, and structures on all machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, electrical, and mechanical drawings for plant equipment and processes.
  • Perform repairs on machinery and plant support systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs.
  • Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Compile data and write reports on projects when necessary.
  • Maintain and manage the manufacturing condition of the production line.
  • Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years experience as an electrical technician/electrician in manufacturing.
  • Valid 442A or 309A license.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical skills.
  • Experience with sequence control and PLCs.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO-based quality systems are preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable taking direction, multitasking, and managing time efficiently for best results.
  • Able to report to either the Weekday Afternoon shift or the Weekend Day shift.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbalamp; written.
