Calling all machine operator candidates! Aerotek is currently supporting the hiring for an equipment manufacturing organization in Brantford, ON ! Successful candidates will be working on a Salvagnini machine to help machine parts for custom laboratory furniture. Current vacancies are on the WEEKEND shifts (days and nights)- enjoy the financial incentive of a shorter work week while getting FULL hours!A Day on the Job:- Receiving steel- Programming/nesting of Salvagnini machine- Operating Salvagnini equipment which cuts, punches, and bends cold rolled steel, satin coat, and stainless steel- Visually inspecting if machine is operating properly.- Organization of in-process parts- Equipment maintenance with tuning machine if needed.- Candidates must be comfortable lifting metal sheets, to fix the machine if necessary which could mean crawling on top of the machine.- Candidates will be responsible for reading and interpreting manufacturing blueprints.Qualified Candidates must possess:- 2+ years experience working as a Machine Operator doing setups.- Ablility to interpret blueprints for machining.- Must be comfortable with lifting sheet metal for machining.Shift:- Weekend Day shift (Friday- Monday, 42 working hours)- Weekend Night shift (Friday- Monday, 42 working hours)Pay:- $23.70/hr- Weekend Days: $1.35 premium- Weekend Nights: $1.80 premiumWhy work for this company:- BENEFITS- Medical, Dental, Vision- Life insurance- 100% Coverage- Pension, 2 years to get.- Opportunity to move into other roles.- Probation Completion Wage: $24.91- One Year Wage: $25.39If interested, please apply below!À propos d #39;Aerotek:Notre monde nous tient à cœur.
