Job Description

They will have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment and any other equipment that fits their license. You will be required to complete all necessary paperwork and government documents. Keeping in close contact with your supervisor is required on a daily basis. You will generally work without direct supervision but will always be part of a team that works together to make sure all customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains proper traffic flow within the yard
  • Yard count of equipment
  • Yard clean up - maintain GFL #39;s standards pertaining to yard cleanliness
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
  • Must have a clean abstract, cvor and criminal record
  • Previous shunting experience is an asset
  • Must have excellent knowledge of Schedule 1
  • Perform inspection on tractor and trailers
  • Must have AZ licence
  • Must be time efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet all deadlines
