Job Description

Print Production Account Executive, Western Canada

  • Are you ready to take on the challenge of selling cutting-edge Canon production products to the commercial print market
  • Do you have what it takes to build lasting relationships and guide clients through longer sales cycles
#LIS#The Print Production Account Executive will be reporting to the Production Manager and will be responsible for selling Canon production equipment and related solutions and services to the commercial print vertical within a large geographic portfolio. The commercial print market is known for long sales cycles which will require fostering the customer relationship.Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, prospect, and engage with Commercial Print business customers. This includes conducting weekly phone blitzes and visiting potential clients.
  • Achieve your annual individual sales targets for both production software and hardware, ensuring to record all sales activities in SalesForce.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proposals, print samples, and training that highlight Canon’s competitive advantages and value propositions.
  • Conduct in-depth cost of print, return on investment, and workflow analyses to uncover opportunities that provide value to customers and generate sales for Canon and authorized third-party products.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, continuously identifying ways to add value and explore new product opportunities.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though post-secondary education is preferred.
  • 3+ Years of experience in a Commercial Print Environment is required.
  • Intermediate Analytical abilities are required to understand the needs of clients, to offer optimal Canon solutions, and to create customer proposals.
  • Intermediate time management skills is required to ensure client timelines are met.
  • Cold calling and prospecting experience is required to find a new business within your territory.
  • Intermediate print production equipment knowledge is required to demonstrate the offerings to our clients.
  • Travel for training and tradeshow within Canada is required.
  • Limited International travel for tradeshows is required.
