Manager, Accounting and Compliance - Divert NS — Open Truro, Nova Scotia Divert NS is a not-for-profit based in Truro, NS, focused on supporting the province to recycle and live in more sustainable ways. Through a combination of stewardship programs and multiple initiatives, they provide new opportunities and approaches to waste diversion and reduction.On their behalf, we are seeking a Manager, Accounting and Compliance to join their head office team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for various financial reporting functions of the company, overseeing all day-to-day operations of the accounting/audit departments and managing and training accounting and audit staff.Divert NS values diversity and equity. You are highly analytical with demonstrated problem-solving skills.A solid team player, you have both the experience and communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire accounting and audit staff.You are comfortable being hands-on and bring excellent project management skills, attention to detail, personal responsibility, and accountability to your work.A full job description is available here.
