Job Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Administrative Assistant in Bridgewater, NS, to work at a well-established company that provides accounting, bookkeeping, and other related auditing services.   • Pay rate: $17/hour
  • Location: Bridgewater, NS
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM- 5 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the senior admins, and admin pool team to complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner and with great attention to detail
  • Manage electronic and paper-based client files and maintain client database
  • Prepare documents including correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Assembling year end packages (tax returns, financial statements, letters)
  • Participate in the development of internal systems and processes
  • Plan office events
  • Prepare for client meetings
  • Managing calendars
  • Manage and submit expense reports
  • Use the STAR practice management applications to ensure proper record keeping
  • Draft client invoices
  • Identify cross-service line opportunities
  • Always update job knowledge by reading publications and participating in educational opportunities
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customers needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A Highschool degree or GED is required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in an administrative assistant role is required
  • Is efficient with filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying
  • Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail are crucial
  • Must be fully vaccinated
  • Should have a clear criminal background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
