Our District Highway Operations Division plays a critical role in managing various programs, functions and activities throughout our province, including snow and ice control services, road maintenance and repair services and approval of various permits.About Our OpportunityReporting to the District Director, the Area Manager is directly involved in creating and designing new programs to meet the demands of our growing infrastructure and ever-changing work environment. Area Managers are pivotal in helping achieve Department objectives for highway maintenance, snow and ice control, and infrastructure expansion projects.Primary AccountabilitiesThrough the effective leadership of staff and coordination of technical and equipment resources, the Area Manager provides opportunities for safe traffic movement and economic development across the Province.You will manage such areas as:
