Strum’s customer-centered focus assures that clients consistently receive excellent service and top quality insurance products at competitive prices.We are currently seeking experienced Insurance Broker/Customer Service Representatives. The successful candidate(s) will pride him/herself on providing an outstanding customer experience and is a team player looking to join a growing Nova Scotian company. Excellent computer/keyboarding skill is a must. An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, and with strong attention to detail, s/he will hold a minimum Level 1 insurance license and have previous experience in the insurance industry. Applicants with a University degree and a business background and/or education or similar may be ideally suited to this role.Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative may include but are not limited to:· Providing exceptional day-to-day customer service to clients and producers· Processing in our Broker Management System and Insurance Company Portals· Maintain professional relationships with Insurers and Underwriters· Report claims and process policy cancellations· Process payments, prepare letters and other forms of correspondence· Flexible to perform various assigned tasksCompensation (including benefits and group RRSP matching contributions) will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience and evidence of a strong work ethic.Location of interested candidates is flexible.
