Job Description

OUT OF COUNTRY APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLEJob briefWe are looking for a responsible Office Administrator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to management, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant

  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a professional manner.
  • Manage communication including emails and phone calls.
  • Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed.
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Receive invoices and review them for accuracy.
  • Assist with Marketing Reps
  • Process orders and arrange shipping.
Qualifications for Administrative Assistant
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an asset.
  • 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment.
Job Type: Fixed term contractSalary: From $18.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Bridgewater, NS B0J 2E0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
