With our mentoring, quality, and safety programs, we are committed to staying at the forefront of our industry.We are currently looking for a hard-working and dependable Sheet Metal Journeyperson to join our team. We are looking for an individual with experience in residential & commercial roughing-in and ducting work. This person will be responsible for performing sheet metal work for HVAC systems and equipment installations. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to be a part of a growing team, who has keen interest in staying on the forefront of the industry, who is capable of working at various heights, lifting 50+lbs, ensuring they and others are always working safely, and assisting in a wide range of duties for our projects.Responsibilities

• Team players with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Teach and supervise apprentices on job sites performing tasks, retrieving tools and parts. Prepare and set up work areas per safety regulations and Rhyno’s policies.
• Analyze and interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical literature and equipment specifications.
• Layout and fabrication of sheet metal fitting required for field installations.
• Install and retrofit commercial and residential units and ductwork as needed
• Keep track of material before, during, and after jobs to minimize loss or theft.
• Able to follow directions, have a positive attitude, personal hand tools.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Follow company procedures and protocols.
• Follow all Safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
• Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
• Must be willing to work occasional overtime, evenings and weekends.
• Showing up on time and ready to work every day is a must.
• Keep your assigned company vehicle stocked & tidy at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyperson Sheet Metal
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience in residential and light commercial projects
• Ability to size duct jobs
• Able to perform physical work (bending, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders/stairs, loading/unloading) parts up to 50 pounds in weight
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal), to liase with office-team and customers
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules
• A personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Demonstrated sound work ethics

Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 7:30am-5pm
• Occasional on-call shifts evenings & weekends
