Job Description

Have you always dreamed about getting into auto finance but the thought of where to start seems daunting Look no further! We have an opening for a Special Finance Trainee. In this role, you will work alongside one of our seasoned Special Finance Managers. Learning everything it takes to be successful in the world of Special Finance. What is Special Finance Securing finance packages for our customers that have less than perfect credit. We work with the customers to find a vehicle that fits their budget, needs and bank requirements.The goal is to learn all the steps of the process from one of our Special Finance Managers. Setting you up for success in 6 months to work independently. Building your own portfolio of business!What you will learn!

  • Leading the customer through the buying process, from start to finish
  • Daily follow up
  • Structuring comprehensive deals using lender guidelines and dealership policies
  • Complete credit review with current and future customers
  • Building strong lasting relationships with customers, lenders and team members
  • Managing multiple customer files
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Reviewing new programs and incentives
  • Presenting/ Closing customers on competitive finance packages
  • Offering top of the line products to protect our customers investments
  • Timely and effective communication with customers and team members
  • Handling online and in-store applications
  • Meeting objectives, targets
Required Skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous sales experience asset but not required
  • Automotive experience would be an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills phone, email, texting, face to face
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Professionally handle confidential matters.
  • Valid drivers license with clean abstract
  • Time management skills
