Location: Flexible (Projects based across BC and Alberta)Job Type: Full-timeAccepting applicants with minimum 2 years experience.As a Contaminated Sites Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing environmental site investigations, remediation programs, and other projects related to contaminated sites. With a focus on marine terminals, industrial sites, and mine sites, you will have the opportunity to work on new and challenging projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven professional with 2-10 years of experience in environmental engineering, technology, or geoscience to join our dynamic and progressive organization.Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and project manage environmental site investigations, remediation programs, and other contaminated sites related projects.Undertake diverse projects involving marine terminals, industrial sites, and mine sites.Define scopes of work, prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals, and provide effective supervision to project staff, ensuring project performance meets expectations.Understand and interpret provincial/federal regulations and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.Coordinate and actively participate in field activities, providing technical oversight to field staff.Analyze and interpret data, translating findings into comprehensive technical reports.Review the work of junior engineers/scientists, offering constructive feedback and mentorship.Qualifications:2-10 years of experience as an Environmental Engineer, Technologist, or Geoscientist, specializing in contaminated site investigations and remediation.Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering or BTech, or a related field of study.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.Strong understanding of provincial and federal regulations governing contaminated sites.Demonstrated project management skills, including scoping, estimating, and delivering projects on time and within budget.Proficient in interpreting and analyzing technical data.Experience reviewing and providing feedback to junior engineers/scientists.A strong desire to succeed in a dynamic and progressive organization.
