Job Description

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing (Events) Coordinator who loves event planning, going all out with digital presence in posts, blogs, and engaging content across various social media platforms. Because this is a role that requires in-person planning for events locally in Vancouver, this role requires someone who can travel easily to Vancouver. You get excited to support the sales, and pitch team from client research to marketing collaterals. You love creating social media content and making decent graphics or editing a bit of copy without breaking a sweat. You are highly organized when it comes to maintaining the marketing calendar because you hate that sound when missed deadlines hit the floor.If you can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and want to make a significant impact as part of a small growing team, then we should talk. This is a stand-alone growth role where you will experience the broad spectrum of digital marketing. What you will be doing:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing awareness activities related to in-person business conferences and events during all stages of an event (pre-, during, and post) while working closely with various stakeholders.
  • Planning, execution, and maintenance of the marketing social media strategy with campaign schedule and content calendar.
  • Execute integrated B2B marketing campaigns to effectively grow direct leads and support our sales and partner marketing efforts.
  • Analyze and conduct A/B testing to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and develop content related to events, blogs, thought leadership and partnerships on social media platforms to engage with clients.
  • Assist with content creation and sales enablement collateral such as success stories, pitch decks, playbooks, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, advertising, blogs and multimedia.
  • Support the sales team in managing end-to-end process of Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions.
  • Conduct thorough market research on clients, competitors, and industry trends updating HubSpot with relevant client contacts.
  • Work with Wordpress to update website, images, banners, create landing pages, upload content to the blog, etc.
Must Haves:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 2-3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media content creation and event planning ideally in the professional services, and technology industry.
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Upbeat personality with also the ability to be thoughtful and detail-oriented.
  • The successful candidate must be able to take the initiative, make recommendations, and balance a variety of concurrent demands in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and on tight timelines.
  • Business-oriented and align marketing efforts with sales efforts.
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn!
Nice to Haves:
  • Hubspot experience and certification. Familiar with ABM techniques.
  • Video Editing
  • Familiar with HTML and CSS
  • Analytics and Adwords Certification.
  • Event planning and marketing experience.
Location:
  • Remote role but candidate must be able to travel to Vancouver for company and business events.
  • Able to travel to the USA or within Canada for events set up (ad-hoc)
Team members:
  • A stand-alone marketing role working collaboratively with the key leaders on the pitch team(Sales, Technology, Design, Finance)
  • Reporting to the HR Director while working directly with the various Business Leaders.
  • Working closely with UXUI, Brand designer, and Content writer.
