The position will play a critical role in executing email marketing campaigns, customer communications, and engagement strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for executing outbound marketing programs that drive lead generation and overall communication to customers. You will work with a team of passionate marketers who are focused on delivering an exceptional experience for customers and strong results for our business, in a collaborative and high-performing environment.As the Email Marketing Coordinator you will drive the constant innovation and performance of Flight Centre Travel Group’s customer retention and best practices across all customer channels in order to guarantee the achievement of the business’s goals.Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on email strategy and execution in the US market focused on customer engagement, acquisition, retention and post-sale communication
  • Ownership of email calendar aligned to marketing & content calendars
  • Using customer data to personalize the email experience
  • Build and deliver KPI reports to stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations and tests based on performance
  • Understand and ensure compliance of CASL, CAN-SPAM and other email regulations across all relevant regions
  • Strong understanding of best-in-class email marketing, new tools and software, and desire/ability to develop a best-in-class program, participation in email marketing community and ongoing self-education on developments within marketing channels
  • Optimize engagement and conversion rates through the development of an effective A/B and multivariate test and learn program
  • Partner with in-house brand and creative teams for creative and content development
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on customer relationship management, marketing automation and retention
  • Understanding of best practices in development and delivery of CRM communications
  • Demonstrated experience building workflows, understanding business and customer requirements
  • Ability to interact with and provide guidance to technology, data, design and creative teams
  • Actively seek knowledge and learnings on the latest innovations and opportunities impacting the overall marketing landscape
  • Experience with integration middleware i.e. Zapier, Scribe, etc is a bonus
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Position requires flexibility in hours for calls with overseas teams
