Job Description

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oilamp; gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgaryamp; Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication. We are looking for Light Equipment Operator, Camp with accommodations provided and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers flights, or travel by vehicle. Shift 21/7.Here’s what we offer you:

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
  • Valid Telehandler and Skidsteer Ticket
  • WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
  • Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • 3-5 years experience operating equipment
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
  • Oil and gas field experience required. Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time
Where our projects are located:
  • Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
  • You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle or plane. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel and will typically cover flights well.
