Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at a cutting-edge bio-energy and manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our plant through proactive maintenance, equipment reliability strategies, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing practices.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervisionamp; Leadership
    • Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation technicians).
    • Train, mentor, and develop team members in safety, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Maintenance Planningamp; Execution
    • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment (e.g., turbines, boilers, conveyors, digesters, pumps).
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
    • Manage the CMMS system to track work orders, maintenance history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Project Management
    • Support or lead capital projects including equipment upgrades, system installations, and plant modifications.
    • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and external contractors for project execution and commissioning.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Continuously evaluate maintenance processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and equipment optimization.
    • Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:Educationamp; Experience:
  • Associate #39;s or Bachelor #39;s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in bio-energy, biomass, biogas, waste-to-energy, or process manufacturing highly preferred.
Skillsamp; Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
  • Familiar with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, eMaint).
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and EPA regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
