Rose Security Services is looking to add Security Systems Technicians in BC & Alberta. Successful applicants must have 3+ years experience in the Security Industry, working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and Networks. Rose Security offers an excellent compensation and benefits plan.Responsibilities:– Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers– Prepare for installations by reviewing installation orders, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools, and coordinating schedules with customers– Plan installations by surveying and evaluating location, identifying installation requirements, and developing an installation plan– Install equipment, run wiring, and program and calibrate equipment– Verify systems functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems– Maintain records by documenting installations and service performed– Provide system training to customers, demonstrating the features and applications associated with their security systems– Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end users– Stay current on new technology– Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices and keeping security information confidentialThis is a full-time position, and most workdays are Monday – Friday during the day. Successful applicants may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends.Required Qualifications:– Work experience with installation, service, and troubleshooting of security systems– Have a high quality of workmanship– Eager to learn new technology and products on a continual basis– Maintain a clean and organized environment at customer sites– Ability to work independently & also within a team– Have a professional and upbeat attitude with the ability to deal with different people– Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract– Excellent written and oral communication skills– Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms– Owning basic security systems hand tools is preferred– BC Security Worker License (Security Alarm Installer) for BC applicants– Certificate of Qualification / Trade Qualifications (CoQ / TQ) is an asset for BC applicants– Safety training and Scissor Lift training is an assetPeople Taking Care of People:Rose Security is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers and an excellent work environment for everyone on our team.Rose Security Services was formed in 2003 in Vancouver and has been growing ever since.
