In this role, you will get the opportunity to work with customers on almost every continent worldwide; as well as occasionally interfacing with engineering staff at one of our 3 other facilities worldwide – including New Zealand, and North Carolina. Job Description The successful candidate will join our existing Optimizationamp; Software Development teams based in Ontario; British Columbia and New Zealand working to deliver next generation software for the Wood Processing Industry. This fast paced development environment includes working with the latest in 3D Scanning and Vision technologies to provide high performance applications that augment the automated wood processing machinery developed at our headquarters and around the world. Renumeration : Betweengt;100,000 / annum Salary Key Duties Include* Develop and troubleshoot new software applications and features. Support installations both remotely and occasionally at customers’ premises Perform testing and debugging code Develop solutions to enterprise problems Prepare documentation and user manuals for applications Desired Skillsamp; Experience A Computer Science or Engineering Degree is preferred, although a diploma and relevant experience will be considered Experience developing software architecture for industrial environments for high performance and reliability Demonstrated ability with Test Driven Development Demonstrated experience developing asynchronous service level applications in C# Demonstrated experience developing user interfaces using ASP.NET, TypeScript, CSS3 Exposure to Relational and Non-Relational Database development A clear communicator with English to a first language level Organized, self-regulated and excellent time management skills required. Holder of a valid passport or ability to travel to the United States Strong Consideration will be given to Any Experience in : Exposure to the Principles of Three Dimensional Data Processing Problem Solving using GPU / APU based Technologies Professional Experience with Three.js Experience with ASP.NET Blazor Work Location Depending upon the successful candidates relevant experience and skillsets this role is available to be fulfilled in any of 3 regions : Nanaimo, British Columbia and Surrounding Region Kawartha Lakes, Ontario and Surrounding Region including the GTA Interested applicants can submit their resume, in absolute confidence, to rileys@tsman.com.
