Job summaryThe SOURCE team is re-defining how we engage and source technical talent at Amazon. As the talent landscape continues to evolve, we are paving the path to raise the bar on candidate engagement and retention.As a Technical Sourcing Lead Recruiter, you will be at the forefront of engaging and retaining talent. This role will focus on delivering scalable, transparent and innovative technical recruiting strategy. You will have the ability to work across WW Operations Technology teams, redefining internal customer partnership, while creating a sustainable sourcing pipeline that raises the bar on delivery.ScopeLead Sourcing Recruiters craft and implement complex, scalable sourcing strategies to attract external talent for the Software Engineering job families in Operations Technology. They demonstrate exemplary candidate generation skills, and pull multiple sourcing levers, developing mechanisms to identify and engage top talent in a highly competitive environment. The role influences L6-L8 level hiring leaders and client leads (CLs) on change, implement innovative solutions to improve talent acquisition processes and candidate engagement. Lead sourcers directly impact businesses and recruiting teams by force multiplying solutions across business lanes by functioning as a talent advisor to the business, partner to CLs and mentor other sourcers.The Sr. Lead Sourcing Recruiter creates a candidate value proposition to engage with candidates for fungible or niche roles where there are not existing benchmark profiles within Amazon. They are the subject matter expert for the sciences job family, influencing direction of external sourcing efforts with market intelligence data, and calibrating HM expectations. Leads exceed individual delivery goals: offers accepts/month, 2&5, RHMD and Diversity. They serve as team lead, onboarding new team members. Lead sourcers share tips for role success, and knowledge around Amazon talent acquisition process. They participate in pre/debriefs, applying learnings to improve efficiencies in the talent selection process. They recommend operational improvements that align to overall team metrics.Core Responsibilities
  • Drive sourcing strategy across a geographically dispersed teams to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of bar raising technology and engineering talent.
  • Manage customer expectations and business goals with bi-weekly business reviews metrics, and status updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth, implement new processes and develop standard operating procedures that fits within Amazons mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Work closely with Business, TA and HR leaders to influence and deliver a quality assessment and candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
This role can be based at one of our regional office locations.
  • Prior knowledge/experience recruiting for Software Engineering and other similar technical roles
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive and creative research
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member
  • Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
  • Contact Management System/Applicant Tracking System experience for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • Strong MS Office skills - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Prior experience building pipelines of external tech or industry communities (e.g., open-source communities, user groups, etc.).
  • Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results oriented environment
  • Skilled at partnering with stakeholders to build sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
