The Games will take place August 17 – 20, 2023, and will feature events like cycling, floor shuffleboard, swimming, golf, track & field, crafts & photography, slow-pitch, pickleball, and more! It’s going to be an amazing opportunity to showcase our community, and we’ve got a LOT of work to do to get ready. That’s where you come in!We’re hiring a Games Coordinator to be our go-to event planner and organized mastermind. We’ll need an energetic and motivated person who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead in the planning and execution of the Brooks Newell Games. The Games Coordinator will report to the City’s Manager of Recreation Services and will work closely with the Games Planning Committee and Games Executive.Games Coordinator needs to be a strong leader, someone who’s highly-organized can self-motivate, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude even while under tremendous pressure. Why Because in the short amount of time we have to plan these games, there’s going to be a lot of excitement and adrenaline, and you’re going to feel like you’re pulled in lot of different directions.
