Savanna Well Servicing is hiring!We are looking for a Field Recruiter/Crew Coordinator to join our team.We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Recruitment & Crew Coordination team. ..........and much more!Brief Job Description is included below: Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but not limited to, the following):
  • Responsible for staffing rigs with qualified candidates and best team fit for assigned rigs;
  • Communicate field recruitment, employee movement and employee relations information to Operations leaders, Rig Managers and Field Supervisors to ensure effectively staffed rigs;
  • Ensure the complete and accurate maintenance of employee information in ADP and CRM, including maintaining and updating employee personal contact information;
  • Liaise with rig employees to ensure issues regarding policy, payroll or benefit questions are effectively resolved, coordinating with head office as required;
  • Provide support and guidance to Rig Managers as necessary with regard to diversity, employee relations, progressive discipline and performance management issues, with guidance and in collaboration with Manager, Human Resources (as required);
  • Act as a point-of-contact for rig employees to assist in employee related matters;
  • Process new hires and rehires through the recruitment process which may include booking pre-employment testing, collecting and distributing new hire paperwork and employee onboarding;
  • Support and assist with testing on the implementation and maintenance of new systems as it relates to crew coordination;
  • Communicate changes to policies, processes, and systems and lead change within the Crew Coordination team;
  • Ensure the scheduling, coordination, tracking and reporting of certificates for both new and existing employees;
  • Ensure all employees comply with the Savanna training matrix guidelines and each employee holds valid tickets for their position or any position change;
  • Work closely with the Equipment and Transportation team to provide coverage, as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships;
  • Strong recruitment background with the ability to handle high volumes;
  • Ability to lead a team and streamline processes;
  • Good organization and time management skills;
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Strong computer and administration skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure;
  • Ability to work during Savanna’s Business hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm;
  • Ability to work on-call in the evenings and for weekend staffing needs within operating region.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ideally possessing or working towards a certificate in Human Resources or a closely related discipline
  • Previous experience in ADP is an asset
  • Previous Human Resource Management System experience considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in recruitment and crew coordination, preference towards drilling or well service industries
