Job Description

The successful candidate will take ownership of preventative maintenance program management.Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all work in compliance with regulations, company procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure you are trained and capable of performing assigned work; if not, seek direction from supervisor
  • Manage your day-to-day activities and decisions in a cost-effective manner
  • Communicate urgent information to Supervisor promptly
  • Conduct measurement activities in compliance with company and other required measurement standards
  • Execute assigned projects to plan - budget, quality and schedule
  • Maintain good transactions for assets in the Bow River District 2 warehouse
  • Conduct preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), troubleshooting and repairing as assigned on work-orders to manufacturer’s specification
Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Skilled trade – preference given to millwright
  • 5-10 years’ of industry related experience
  • Knowledge and know-how with Maximo – considered an asset
  • Experience maintaining assets in a safe, reliable operating condition
  • Prioritizing housekeeping on-site
  • Time management skills and ability to adapt your schedule with unforeseen situations
